Tatuaje Announces Highly Anticipated Return of Original Connecticut Broadleaf Pork Tenderloin
Tatuaje Cigars has officially announced the limited return of a fan favorite: the original Pork Tenderloin featuring a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. This iconic 5 1/8 x 52 vitola, which first achieved legendary status as a limited store exclusive in 2010, is making a comeback for 2025.
The original Connecticut Broadleaf Pork Tenderloin quickly became one of the most sought-after cigars from Tatuaje after its initial limited release. Its popularity led to small-batch reappearances during the company’s “Bus Tours” in 2016 and 2017, where limited quantities were available at retail events across the country.
In 2023, Tatuaje released a variation, the “Lomo de Cerdo,” which featured a San Andrs wrapper from Mexico and saw a nationwide release. However, the allure of the original Connecticut Broadleaf version has remained strong among enthusiasts.
The 2025 release sees the Pork Tenderloin return in its original blend: a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers. Produced at the My Father Cigars factory in Estel, Nicaragua, this limited run is presented in the familiar 25-count bundles wrapped in butcher paper.
Adding a new element to this release, the 2025 Pork Tenderloin will feature a red and white band, a distinction from the unbanded original Broadleaf releases, allowing for easy identification. Production is limited to 5,000 bundles, totaling 125,000 cigars. With an MSRP of $13 per cigar or $325 per bundle, this limited release is shipping to select retailers across the country.
