Tatuaje has created a follow up to their famous red-banded, Havana VI blend, the Havana VI Verocu Blue. This cigar uses entirely Nicaraguan tobacco sourced and rolled by My Father Cigars.

This cigar took 4 years to get right, Pete Johnson of Tatuaje said in a Cigar Aficionado article that he couldn’t find the right time to slate it into his regular production releases, which left him waiting. Eventually the Corojo 99 wrapperthe Blues now wear, was ready to be used, and it worked perfectly.

This blend has Limited Edition boxes of 50, only 200 of these boxes were made. It is a nod to when the red label was created back in 2007.

The No. 2 vitola earned a hearty 90 point rating from Cigar Aficionado.
