When Steve Saka set out to create the award-winning Mi Querida, the first wrapper leaves were not up to his incredibly high standard, but were too good to just toss away. The solution to this conundrum: Use the wrappers on a new cigar that would offer cigar lovers a great smoke at a fantastic value. Thus the Umbagog by Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust was born.

The Umbagog Gordo Gordo is a standout of the line that features the plush and now-famous Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper which surrounds a thick and hearty core of binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua. Together these tobaccos form a tantalizingly rich 6 x 56 smoke.
