Description
Made by Davidoff for Ventura Cigar Company, the Archetype Dreamstate Toro is a Dominican premium cigar which is easily the dreamiest of the five new Archetype lines introduced in 2016. This mild to medium-bodied toro uses a shimmering Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper on top of a Dominican San Vincente binder and a unique (and secret) multi-country filler blend that is smooth and complex, with notes of vanilla, fruit, and white pepper. It’s almost too good to be true.

- Cigar WrapperEcuadorian Connecticut ShadeThe wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.Ecuador is the perfect place to grow wrappers, because it is located on the Equator! And it has rich soils too. The weather conditions, with a nearly permanent cloudy sky, provide a natural shade, protecting the wrapper plants from sunshine and allowing the tobacco to grow thin and light. This climate allows tobacco growers to grow Connecticut-seed wrapper in the shade without shade cloths, resulting in more economical wrapper.
- Cigar BinderSan VicenteThe binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.A tobacco hybrid grown in the Dominican Republic. The San Vicente plant is valued for its high leaf yield, and it makes an excellent binder.
- Cigar FillerUndisclosedFiller is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the “guts” of the cigar.
