Liga Privada is one of the most popular cigars on the market. They area name almost every cigar enthusiast, new and seasoned, knows. The story for Drew Estate’s Undercrown line is that their cigar rollers were smoking too many Liga Privada’s, leaving a small amount to be exported. The roller’s were unhappy to say the least, but they chose to try their hand at blending, and created a cigar they could smoke everyday. The result was the Undercrown Maduro, which has now been crafted into Connecticut and Sun Grown blends as well.

Undercrown Maduro uses a USA Connecticut Stalk Cut Habano binder leaf, with a Mexican San Andres wrapper, finished with Brazilian and Nicaraguan filler leaves. These are great everyday cigars, and are sometimes preferred over their full bodied brethren.
